Fused Holding Dancer Auditions in Los Angeles

Contempo Arts Productions is seeking professional dancers of various experience for a new production, Fused, which will be performed in Los Angeles at the Alex Theatre on August 19th and 20th, 2022

Fused is a celebration of different forms of dance, with for theme the fusion of ballet with a multitude of other styles. We are currently seeking strong classically trained dancers of all genders with a background in modern or contemporary. Pointe work and partnering required for certain pieces. We are particularly looking for very experienced professional male ballet dancers with excellent technique and partnering skills to fill principal roles along with female identifying ballet dancers who excel at pointe work to fill corps, soloist or principal roles.

All position are paid hourly, for rehearsals and performances, depending on experience. Dancers will be on payroll and must be 18 years or older and legal to work in the US. All dancers are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. All dancers must be local to LA or willing to work as local hires.

Rehearsals will be held mostly on weekends and Fridays beginning mid May. Additional days will be added, as needed, towards the end of July and will most likely take place Friday-Monday. Dress rehearsal will be held at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, CA on August 18th.
